Covid 19 Update JANUARY 2022
With the continuing Level 5 Covid restrictions across the Country please see some important information in relation to Domestic overnight deliveries in Ireland.
As a result of these restrictions and in conjunction with a sharp rise in online ordering - the majority of which will be B2C – all carriers are experiencing a significant increase in parcel volumes. The net effect is a slowdown in order processing & delivery times. Please be mindful of this when placing domestic overnight orders and, where possible, allow for additional transit time.
Due to social distancing restrictions our Customer Services will operate on a reduced basis with phone lines open from 8.30am -5.30pm Monday - Friday.
Our new booking platform is, however, available 24/7 on desktop & mobile app allowing all Cyclone customers to make & manage bookings from any location. If you would like to access your online account please send your email address and Cyclone account number (you will find this on any Cyclone invoice) to customerservice@cyclone.ie or use our online chat portal.
We have recruited additional drivers & staff to help deal with the increased demand and we will continue to follow all regulations, restrictions and public health guidelines.
Cyclone and their agents will continue to use contactless delivery until further notice.
To help ensure your package arrives safely and on time here are some packaging tips:
Use a rigid box with flaps intact
Remove any labels, hazardous materials indicators, and other previous shipment markings on the box that are no longer applicable
Wrap all items separately
Use adequate cushioning material
Use strong tape designed for shipping
Do not use string or paper over-wrap
Use a single address label that has clear, complete delivery and return information
Place a duplicate address label inside the package
